Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is a 74-year-old basketball player. However, the basketball icon, novelist, actor, television writer, and historian has remained current. He just started a Substack, where he intends to express his views on topics ranging from athletics to social justice, and everything in between. But he made waves when he joined the meme game to cape for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Kareem spent the last 14 seasons of his career with the Lakers, where he won five titles and three of his six NBA MVP trophies. He’s a staple of the franchise and will always have a stake in its success. If the meme is any indication, he may have missed his calling in psychological warfare.

Abdul-sense Jabbar’s of humour is often overlooked. In 2019, he joined the writing team for Hulu’s revival of the Veronica Mars series, and in an article for The Hollywood Reporter, he gleefully poked fun at himself.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is still a fascinating figure after more than 30 years away from the NBA. He can confidently talk about a variety of subjects that most people can’t.
However, if early results are any indicator, the Hall of Famer may have to be referred to as Kameme Abdul-Jabbar.
