Now that Windows 11 is a reality, several PC makers have already taken the plunge and announced new machines that will come pre-installed with Microsoft’s newest operating system.
Other OEMs, on the other hand, may not have the means to release whole new laptops and desktops, so they are happy to just declare that current devices will be eligible for the free update.
Samsung has not been left behind, and is taking use of the occasion to remind its consumers that they may enjoy integration with their mobile phones even before Windows 11 receives the promised native support for Android applications.

ToggleBixby is currently available for Windows 11 users.
For a few years, Samsung has gotten preferential treatment from Microsoft, resulting in some very helpful features if you’re the sort that keeps your phone close to your Windows PC at all times.
While Windows 11 allows you to run Android applications straight from the desktop, it may still be more comfortable to access your phone from the desktop without having to touch it.
It goes without saying that this only occurs if you have a Samsung Galaxy phone from the last several years.
Unsurprisingly, Samsung’s Windows 11 update announcement emphasizes capabilities that are currently available in Windows 10.
Bixby, Samsung’s famous virtual assistant, is only compatible with the Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Odyssey, Galaxy Book Go, Galaxy Book Pro 360, and Galaxy Book Pro on Windows.
The Galaxy Book Pro 360 5G is said to be the first Galaxy Book to come with Windows 11 pre-installed. Once Windows 11 is released, the remainder of the users will have to go through the upgrade procedure.
Link to Windows, for example, allows you to receive phone alerts and messages from the new OS while also allowing you to run Android applications on your desktop or laptop.
The major difference between this and the upcoming Windows 11 is that you’re running applications that are already loaded and configured on your phone, which is more like remote phone access than native Android app compatibility.
Samsung is also releasing a few updates and new features at the same time as Windows 11. Galaxy phones and Galaxy Books, for example, all feature Live Wallpaper and Dynamic Wallpaper.
The official release of Bixby on Windows, bringing voice control of your smart home to your Samsung laptop, may be the most exciting news for those fully engaged in Samsung’s ecosystem.
